AIIC Symposium on the Future of the Interpreting Profession

Interpreters, researchers, equipment providers and event planners meet in Cartagena (Colombia) to explore the evolution of conference interpreting.


The Private Market Sector (PriMS) of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) brings together free-lance interpreters who work on the international private market and national private and public markets, as well as for intergovernmental organizations or meetings that are not governed by agreements negotiated by AIIC.

In the framework of its July 2017 meeting, the PriMS will host a symposium open free-of-charge to all stakeholders in the interpreting community. For those unable to attend, the full meeting will be streamed lived on YouTube (see link below).
